| Sandonnas® founder, Rick Haynes sought a different way of life in creating the Sandonnas concept. Armed with post-graduate studies at Stanford University and experience as a senior executive in the corporate world, he stumbled across a pizza take n bake business while traveling on business.

What he saw interested him. There was nothing else like it on the East Coast. Using his extensive work experience, he had one goal: to offer the best pizza in the industry. Rick spent hundreds of hours with industry experts to refine and perfect the concept to stand up to the demands of Pizza aficionados on the East Coast. The work culminated in the opening of the first location in East Greenwich Rhode Island in 2002.
